Pako Bootsapo

Pako Bootsapo is a trader, educator, and Deriv partner behind Ingenuity Traders, a trading education community with more than 22,000 Facebook followers at the time of his Partner Spotlight interview. His work brings together free educational content, live trading sessions, and mentorship for learners across Africa.

His journey began when a friend introduced him to trading. After opening a Deriv account, following his friend’s signals, and making his first withdrawal, Pako became interested in understanding the markets for himself. He chose to study independently and later created Ingenuity Traders to give others access to free learning and guidance.

That mission was shaped by people he saw struggling without support. Some had stopped trading or abandoned their accounts because they lacked someone to help them understand the process. Pako wanted to create a community where learners could ask questions, develop their knowledge, and receive encouragement through setbacks.

Honesty is central to his approach. He shares losses alongside profits and uses live sessions to let people observe his trading and interact with him directly. His educational philosophy focuses on helping learners understand market structure and make their own decisions, rather than relying entirely on someone else’s signals.

With a background in digital marketing, Pako uses educational videos, targeted Google ads, and his website to connect with interested learners. His website provides a central home for educational content, session information, and contact details, helping him reach people beyond his own country.

For Pako, partnership involves continuing to support people after they register. He encourages aspiring partners to build patiently, communicate trading risks clearly, and remain available to their communities. Looking ahead, he has outlined plans for seminars across Africa in 2027, taking Ingenuity Traders’ educational work to more people in person.
